Welcome to the NW Arkansas Autism Support Group
Northwest Arkansas Autism Support a nonprofit organization founded in 2002 with an all-volunteer staff, many with autistic children themselves, and intent on providing guidance and support for area parents.
The support group averages about 30 people and meets the second Tuesday of each month. Our eight-member board of directors also meets monthly and includes teachers, lawyers, government officials and corporate executives, all touched by autism in some way.

I am attempting to put together some recommendations for a training program for police officers. I am looking for parents input on concerns, worries, fears, and so forth. I am the parent of a child with Aspergers so I have my concerns but I don’t want to speak for others. I may be contacted at the Rogers Police Department between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM, Thursday through Monday. I have been trying to make a meeting and hopefully will soon. Any and all help is appreciated!
Brian, Have you heard of Dennis Debbaudt? He was here in AR sometime in the last year or so. Anyway, check out his website for some tips & downloadable information. http://autismriskmanagement.com/ He is very helpful, you can contact him directly.
I’m the mom of an 8 year old boy with PDD ADD, I don’t know any other parents in my community with children struggling with this and I don’t know how to handle it alone. I’ve petitioned for an IEP at school for him and his Dr.put him on concerta. Is there any help for us around?
